Paddle or folding
The paddle fan is a rigid card blade with a handle and plenty of surface to print on. The folding fan closes, fits in a bag and comes across as a more considered gift.
Printed fabric, engraved sticks
The fan panel is printed in full colour by sublimation or digital printing. The sticks are marked by pad printing on plastic or laser engraving on bamboo or wood.
Where branded hand fans work
The clearest use is the summer event: trade shows, conferences in hot halls, presentations on terraces or in gardens. This is where the card paddle fan and the plastic folding fan fit, handed out in quantity and used on the spot.
The second use is internal or for clients: staff summer parties, open days or celebrations, where a bamboo or wooden fan works as a table favour or gift. They pair well with reusable cups or caps to make an outdoor event kit.
Materials and printing
The paddle fan is made of rigid card, with a blade of about 21 × 23 cm. The plastic folding fan has polypropylene sticks and a polyester panel, about 40 cm when open; the paper one has wooden sticks; the bamboo one with a fabric panel opens to about 42 cm. For gifts there are larger wood or bamboo formats with a cotton panel, supplied in a pouch or box.
The whole panel is printed with a pattern, an illustration or the event theme, on one or both sides, and the logo can sit small in a corner. On the stick, pad printing on plastic or laser engraving on bamboo and wood, which leaves the mark in a toasted tone, with no ink.

- Logo only or the full panel printed, on one side or both. A pattern or the event theme with a discreet logo is kept longer than a giant logotype.
